Journal solo in italiano perché tratta prevalentemente di cose "interne"...
Dopo le lagne dell'ultimo journal, ecco finalmente un po' di progetti concreti che
renderanno molto più saporita la bella stagione.
Probabilmente alla maggior parte di voi non frega niente, ma questo è l'unico "blog" che ho, quindi tanto vale scriverci sciocchezzuole!
Innanzitutto, il 22 di questo mese compio finalmente il grande passo contro la miopia, e mi faccio operare con il laser. Me la faccio un po' sotto, ma ho aspettato per tanto tempo e non posso rinunciare ora!!
Altra grossa novità: ora faccio ufficialmente parte del comitato organizzativo della prossima edizione di Narnia Fumetto, che si terrà il 6 e il 7 settembre di quest'anno, come sempre a Narni. I nostri piani sono segreti e ambiziosi e hanno come ultimo scopo la conquista del mondo... Ma abbiamo bisogno di consigli e suggerimenti, perciò oltre ad essere invitati a raggiungerci... lo siete anche a dire la vostra!!
Il 19 e 20 aprile io e ~Mister-R saremo invece a Lanciano nel Fumetto in qualità di sgherri maligni dell'ineffabile stand di Antani Comics. Se ci sarete, passateci a trovare!
Per adesso credo che sia tutto qui. A parte i molti disegni che sto pian piano scansionando e che ho intenzione di mettere su prima possibile, non ci saranno molte altre novità a breve, anche perché dal 18 credo comincerà un periodo di "silenzio".
Fate i bravi nel frattempo... A presto!

Premessa: mi scuso con chiunque dovesse mettersi a leggere questo journal senza avere voglia di subire una zuppa di lagne. Breve, ma sempre lagne sono.

In realtà, ho solo bisogno di un innocuo sfogo. Niente di più. E ce l'ho solo con me stessa.

Ce l'ho con me stessa perché, nonostante tutti i miei sforzi di liberarmi degli errori del passato rendendomi più forte, continuo a portare dentro di me una manciata di residui del passato, briciole multicolori di errori di vario genere, che cerco sempre di ignorare, ma che quando mi toccano di nuovo, bruciano ancora.

Pensavo che diventando più forte, più dura, più cattiva, avrei allontanato da me qualsiasi motivo di sofferenza. Ma mi sbagliavo, perché ho dirottato dalla mia natura. E la mia natura si sta ribellando. Ma la nuova me stessa, quella che mi serve per sopravvivere, non vuole cedere. Ho solo creato un altro conflitto all'interno di me stessa.

Non ho il coraggio di tornare indietro. Posso solo sperare di andare avanti.

Buonanotte a tutti. Io il sonno ancora non so dove cercarlo stasera.

Wow, they're finally over! I even have an extra request! After complaining so much, how could I not agree? After the very last one, I think I will confine this list to a journal entry, but I won't give up the idea at all! O Dei del Nord benedicete sempre la Finlandia e tutti i suoi prodotti musicali...

Roma, 11 novembre 2007, gli Apocalyptica si esibiscono al Circolo degli Artisti. Signori miei, non ci sono parole. Tre ore di fila e una ventina di euro di biglietto sono un prezzo minimo per guardare dalla quarta fila di un localino intimo e molto underground quattro violoncelli che piroettano sul palco e cantano, sì cantano, più o meno come farebbe la chitarra di Santana. Strumenti settecenteschi che producono un milione di suoni diversi, a una velocità che stordisce. Schiacciata sotto a due stranieri con due spalle così ho visto i metallari iniziare a pogare con Nothing else matters e le ragazzine cantare a squarciagola Bittersweet, e ogni volta che loro si avvicinavano alla gente sporgendosi dal palco t'aspettavi che otto-nove mani li tirassero giù con tutti i violoncelli. Un delirio. Mi fischiano le orecchie ancora adesso.

Ci tornerei domani.

O Nordic Gods bless forever Finnland and its musical derivates...

Rome, November 11th 2007, Apocalyptica plays by Circolo degli Artisti in Rome. Dear friends, I have no words. Three hours in queue and a bit more than 20 euros for a ticket are a slight price to see from the 4th row of a puny and very underground theatre four cellos dancing and singing on the stage. Yes, they sing, like a guitar played by Santana would do. Instruments from the XVIII century which produce one million different sounds at a speed that makes your head spin. While being squashed under two gigantic foreigners I watched metal freaks clashing with Nothing else matters and gals singing aloud Bittersweet, and every time they leaned over the stage towards the people, you expected them to be grasped by eight-nine hands and to be pulled down with cellos and all. Pure wilderness. My ears are still singing.

I would go there again tomorrow.
